Final Alaska Cruises On Crystal Harmoney Leave People Wanting More
from:To the dismay of many travelers, Alaska cruises on Crystal Harmoney ended in 2005, when it made its last voyage into the Alaskan waters of the Pacific Ocean. Crystal Cruises still operate the Crystal Symphony and Crystal Serenity, but their voyages into the waters of the coast of Alaska ended with a discounted rate as they company’s ship joined with the fleet of its owner, Nippon Yusen Kaisha of Japan.
For many years Alaska cruises on Crystal Harmoney thrilled tourists with its 50-ton displacement while carrying under 1,000 passengers. The staterooms were well-appointed and while the company’s cruises have been ranked number one in cruise accommodations for 12 years in a row, the Crystal Harmoney was known as one of the finest ships in its fleet, as it departed from San Francisco and carried passengers up the west coast to places such as Juneau, Alaska and back.
The last Alaska cruises on Crystal Harmoney invited children to join free, provided they were booked into staterooms with two fare-paying parents. The cuisine on Alaska cruises on Crystal Harmoney was claimed to be some of the best in the industry and the onboard entertainment usually far exceeded passengers’ expectations.
Discounts Made Voyage More Affordable
As the final 2005 season was drawing to a close, discounts with many airlines made traveling to the port in San Francisco much more affordable and the reduced fare for Alaska cruises on Crystal Harmoney were offered at discount, it put the tour of the Alaskan coast within reach of many tourists. Three-day excursions off the coast of Alaska also made it become a reality for many vacationers.
A leading travel magazine has named Crystal Cruises the people’s choice in large ship cruise lines for the past dozen years, and the Alaska cruises on Crystal Harmoney ,ay have been discontinued but memories linger in the minds of past passengers who still regard the cruise line as one of the best in the industry. With their remaining two ships, Serenity and Symphony mounting excursions around the world with 940 or 1,068 passengers respectively, the crew about these ships can offer exceptional service for which the company has been famous.
I lifetime of memories are created when folks take off on any type of cruise to many global destinations. However, those who were able to be onboard the Alaska cruises on Crystal Harmoney claim it was one of the best experiences of their life.
